Home grown organic produce
We grow 10 acres of organic vegetables at our farm: potatoes, kohl rabi, cabbages, broccoli, swedes, brussel sprouts, cauliflowers, curly kale, broad beans, runner beans, beetroot, spinach, swiss chard, courgettes, marrows, squashes, leeks and jerusalem artichokes.
Our carrots and parsnips come from a farm 600 feet up on the Yorkshire Moors where it's very windy. The main pest of carrots is carrot fly, and if it's windy, the fly can't land to lay its eggs.
We provide a year-round supply of most fruits and vegetables, however our own produce is, of course, seasonal. To see what's available when, see our what's in season page.
