Spring Bank Holiday

It's May and another Bank holiday with pleasant weather forecast!
Please note that we will be closing the shop at 12pm on Saturday and will reopen on Tuesday 29 May.

You may be barbecuing this weekend and salads are a lovely accompaniment. My sister said she made this tomato salad and it was delicious and so simple to make. We also have lovely UK Batavia and Little Gem lettuces.

For a full list of what's in the shop see our organic fruit and vegetable price guide.

In the meat/fish department we will have fresh organic: beef: mince & braising steak; lamb chops, bacon and smoked salmon. We also have frozen chicken breasts and thighs, salmon fillets and gf sausages.

Have a good week!

PS if you or a friend can't come to the shop you can take a virtual tour! You can then email in an order and we will endeavour to deliver it - see our delivery page for details.

May bank holiday

What a bank holiday weekend! Fantastic weather and the Tour de Yorkshire!
I managed a lovely early morning trip to the beach with my grandson. Our gardens don't quite know what's hit them. One minute it was winter and then spring and summer have rolled into one.

We have delicious organic british asparagus in the shop. The season is very short so do come and treat yourselves. We also have very tasty large plum tomatoes on the vine - feedback from a very happy customer!

For a full list of what's in the shop see our organic fruit and vegetable price guide.

In the meat/fish department we will have fresh organic: bacon, smoked salmon; chicken: whole, thigh fillets, sausages and burgers; beef mince.

Have a good week!
