Football, Chelsea flower show and summer fruits!

What a lovely weekend - unfortunately rain is forecast for Thursday and Friday but fingers crossed that the good weather returns for the bank holiday weekend.
For those football fans amongst us - didn't Hull City do well! They were the underdogs and kept Arsenal on their toes.
For the keen gardeners amongst us, it's Chelsea Flower show this week. Alan Titchmarsh has co-designed a garden which celebrates 50 years of Britain in Bloom. The garden includes a dry stone wall, which was dismantled from its original site in Yorkshire and reassembled in Chelsea.
My sister is very excited because she's got a ticket! This will be her first visit even though she lives nearby. Her last attempt to go was 30 years ago when she was heavily pregnant with her youngest. She was just about to buy her ticket (you could buy them on the gate in those days!) and there was a bomb scare, so she waddled home and gave birth a few days later!
This week in the shop we have some lovely summer fruits - cherries, necatarines and peaches - see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide for details.
We will also have fresh organic salmon fillets, whole chickens and chicken chicken burgers and thighs.
Have a good week!

Lovely comments from a customer!

Hope you have had a good early bank holiday weekend. With the shop closed on Monday I managed a quick trip down to London to visit my daughter.
We had a lovely sunny day on Sunday and took a picnic on to Clapham Common. It was great to see everyone outside enjoying themselves!
As my train hurtled down to London on Saturday evening with free wifi I managed to order some lovely fresh produce for the shop.
Highlights for the week are organic peaches and nectarines from Spain, blood oranges from Italy and locally grown organic spinach - see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide for details.
We will also have fresh organic chicken breast, burgers and thighs and fresh organic salmon fillets.
I had a lovely email from a customer last week praising the shop for all its lovely fresh produce:
"spinach/ chard - beautiful! thanks so much
cauliflowers - they're lovely
all your veg is freshest you can get anywhere - great credit to you!"
Have a good week!
