UK Asparagus season begins

Hope you all had a lovely Easter. We had a mixture of weather but I did manage to sit out in the sun for a while before having to return to the computer to start ordering the lovely produce we have in the shop this week - see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide for details.
If you or your family ate too many Easter eggs we have a lovely selection of salad produce including watercress and wild wonder tomatoes which really brighten up a salad bowl with their different colours!
We will also have fresh organic beef, pork and whole chickens.
Last but not least we have a real treat - the first of this season's UK organic asparagus!
Have a good week!

Run up to Easter

I had a lovely weekend with my sisters. For a birthday treat we three sisters went to the Stephen Joseph Theatre to see
The Memory of Water - a play about three sisters! Chekhov comes to mind here.
We also managed a trip to Robin Hoods Bay after making a delivery to Normanby. The swathes of daffodils were wonderful - don't we live in a lovely part of the country!
Easter is not far off - we are taking orders for locally baked Simnel cakes and Hot Cross buns.
If you want to make your own we have all the ingredients for Simnel cakes and Hot Cross buns. We also have organic dairy-free Easter eggs.
For a full list of what's in the shop this week see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide.
We will also have fresh organic chicken breasts, burgers and thighs.
The shop will be open on Good Friday but closed on Easter Monday - deliveries as normal.
Have a good week!
