Stir-up Sunday

The colours of the trees has been lovely with this mild weather and we've had some amazing sunsets but that's all going to change! Cold weather is forecast for the next few days so do keep warm. We have lots of root vegetables for making soups and casseroles.
This coming Sunday is Stir-up Sunday - the day when traditionally families got together to make their Christmas puddings! We have all the ingredients in the shop if you plan to make yours or you can order Christmas puddings and cakes - please place your order as soon as possible. We are also taking Christmas orders for organic North Yorkshire bronze turkeys, geese and nut roasts - place your order now to avoid disappointment.
For a full list of what's available in the shop this week see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide. We will also have organic chicken and fresh and smoked salmon.
Have a lovely week and keep warm!

It's Bonfire night on Tuesday and a traditional Yorkshire cake is Parkin - we have a recipe in the shop or we can email it to you.
On these cold November days we need comfort food and here's a link to a lovely cauliflower cheese recipe from chef and food writer Mark Hix who was on Monday's Woman's Hour.
For a full list of what's available in the shop this week see our latest organic fruit and vegetable price guide. We will also have organic chicken.
Have a lovely week and enjoy the fireworks!
