Run up to Easter

This cold weather looks to continue over the Easter weekend but we musn't let it dampen our spirits. We have lovely homemade hot cross buns (made with organic ingredients from the shop) - 2 for £1.40. We also have all the ingredients to make your simnel cake - if you haven't the time we are still taking orders. We have a wide selection of fruit and vegetables for the Easter weekend and fresh organic North Yorkshire lamb, chicken and salmon. Here's a lovely recipe for Red Lentil Mash - sent in by a customer:
Red Lentil Mash
300ml water 1/2 stock cube
1 chopped garlic/onion/leek 1 celery stalk
150g red lentils 1 tbls olive oil
1 tbls lemon juice Freshly ground Black pepper

Method: Simmer the ingredients for about 17mins until liquid all absorbed then whisk together adding the oil and black pepper.
Use instead of mashed potato or as a topping for fish pie.
