Christmas is approaching

We're having winter weather now. It was so windy on Saturday night - hope you were all ok! Can't believe that 2 weeks ago my sister was sitting outside having a coffee in sunny London.
We're in need of warming soups made from all the lovely winter vegetables we have in the shop.
How time is flying - it's nearly the end of November and Christmas isn't far off! We have lovely fresh organic chestnuts in the shop - they can be roasted or made into chestnut stuffing and popped in the freezer. Here's a recipe for apricot and chestnut stuffing. We also have locally made Christmas cakes in the shop and we are taking orders.

On Wednesday there will be sourdough rye bread and locally baked speciality breads.
On Thursday we will have a range of organic meat pies - pork, beef and chicken. There will also be fresh organic nut roasts some will be gluten free - can be frozen for Xmas.
